Childhood crush...
Every boy and girl has that childhood crush that seems bigger than life. Usually you grow up and realize they aren't as great as you orginally thought...(insert New Kids/Backstreet Boy here) but some are even better when you see them.
I grew up loving the Bangles! Ok it wasn't for the music. It was all about Susanna Hoffs and her shifty eyes. I'd walk however you want to meet her.
I finally got to meet and have a picture with her and wow she is 47 and still one of the most attractive people I've ever seen!
Here's my pic with her at the House of Blues in New Orleans.

They said she had the flu and couldn't be touched but at least she leaned in toward me. I think she liked me!!!!
Feel free to send me any thoughts to drew@wfmf.com.
This weekend Libby (fiance') and I are getting our Scuba certification in Panama City. No Club la Vela for us! We can't drink and party at all because we'd be too dehydrated to dive. How many people have ever gone to Panama City and not partied?
We decided to do this (Scuba) before our honeymoon so we could be certified for ever. If you go and just dive at a resort they'll make you take a class and then you'll only be certified to dive there. We thought why waste the honeymoon time for a temporary certification when we can do it now and be certified for life.
So while everyone is breaking it down this weekend (insert thumping base beat here) we'll be eating homemade turkey sandwiches and washing out wetsuits.
I'll have pics up on Monday but if you Scuba send me some Scuba pics to
drew@wfmf.com and I'll post them for the world to see.
Later,
drew
1) I've been told to only register for big ticket items.
2) Register every place imaginable, that way you have more places to return duplicates and unwanteds and cash them in for food and electronics.
3) Only register for the items you need, don't be wasteful unless it involves shoes.
4) Click anything in sight and add it to the list. (Libby)
5) Personally I use the golden rule, do unto others as you'd have done unto you, and apply it to registry, and only register for things you'd buy for another. (Me)
Honestly half the time I'm not even sure what I'm registering for...it is alot of fun to click and hear beeps!
Do I really need a ketchup maker? What about a convenience store hot dog cooker? How about the electric ice cream scoop that also cooks eggs? I'll won't know unless I click it, someone buys it and I compare it to the video camera I really want!
Any thoughts on wedding registries??? Send them to drew@wfmf.com.
